GR13 OVAL | Cutler and Gross

The founder's frame. Smaller by design.

The GR13 comes directly from Graham Cutler's personal archive guided by frames he collected and wore, built for the proportions he believed a well-made pair of glasses should honour. Small, slight, considered. An oval silhouette with an undulating brow line that gives the frame its movement without breaking its composure.

Cut from 8mm milled acetate thicker than it first appears, which is what gives the GR13 its sense of substance despite its scale. Black Horn reads deep and complex in different lights: part black, part dark amber at the edges, the kind of finish that belongs to a frame with this much history behind it.

Guided by the archive. Built for now.

Graham Cutler was the meticulous half of the partnership always insisting he was the technicality of the two, always working toward something refined, slighter, more precise. The GR13 is that philosophy made physical. A frame that doesn't announce itself. That earns its place quietly. That looks better the more time you spend with it.

8mm milled acetate. Made with the same craft Cutler and Gross has applied since George Smith was cutting frames by hand above the Knightsbridge shop in 1969. Two-year warranty. Free worldwide shipping.
