The 18k detail is not decorative for its own sake. The white gold-plated plaque sits on the temple and the hinge is drawn from the same repeat pattern as the filigreed corewire a motif lifted from the gilded spines of collectible leather-bound books of the period. Every element connects back to a single design logic.
