L.R.G
An Italian eyewear atelier that draws its soul from Africa and its hands from generations of Italian craftsmen.
L.G.R was born from a simple refusal: to make eyewear the way everyone else does. In an era of automation and mass production, L.G.R chose the opposite direction: slow, deliberate, handcrafted frames built by skilled Italian artisans who have dedicated their lives to the art of eyewear.
Every frame takes 8 to 14 weeks to produce. Not because it has to because it should. The process begins with premium Italian acetate, derived from natural cotton and wood cellulose. From there: hand-cut and shaped, tumbled in wooden barrels for up to 76 hours to achieve a perfect surface, then hand-polished, hand-stamped (a technique nearly extinct in modern manufacturing), and fitted with tempered mineral glass lenses.
The result isn't just a pair of sunglasses. It's a piece you pass down.
The design language is rooted in Africa its vastness, its cultural richness, its contrasts of raw and refined. Every collection is an homage to a continent that inspires without ever being fully captured. It's what gives L.G.R its unmistakable tension: Italian precision carrying an African soul.
