The Avison is a titanium sun with a modified aviator influence — the large round lens shape characteristic of the category, but with a titanium construction that removes the structural weight while retaining the proportional authority. The saddle bridge and the precision hinge work are visible on close inspection; at a distance, the frame reads as a clean round metal sun. In Soft Gold, the titanium takes a paler, more restrained finish than standard gold — it sits closer to the warm neutral end of the gold spectrum, a finish that reads as considered rather than decorative. Against this, the Tuscan Brown Gradient Mirror lenses carry a warm amber-brown tint with a reflective surface that fades from dense at the upper edge to lighter at the base. The gradient and the mirroring together mean the lens presents differently in different light: in shadow, warm and readable; in direct sun, reflective and opaque from the outside.
