Estin — Sunglasses
Color

The Estin is a large round sun — generous enough in diameter to read as a statement but with enough restraint in the rim profile to avoid caricature. The shape is closer to a geometric circle than the organic rounds Oliver Peoples has historically favoured, giving it a slightly more architectural quality. In Inkwell, the acetate is a near-black navy that reads as black in most light conditions and reveals its blue depth only in direct illumination — a subtlety in a frame that otherwise makes no concessions to subtlety. Against this dark ground, the Sandstone Gradient Polarized lenses carry a warm, muted beige-sand tint that fades toward the lower edge — a contrast that should not work as well as it does. The polarization eliminates glare from reflective surfaces without distorting colour perception
