Our story
Founded in 2010 by optician Daniel Bergel, T’as Vu? Optique is an independent eyewear boutique on boulevard Saint-Laurent, in Montréal’s Plateau-Mont-Royal. Our approach is personal: take the time to get to know you, choose well-made frames with character, and find the right fit for your face, your vision and your everyday life. Today, Daniel and Moshé welcome you with attentive advice and a shared love of eyewear. From choosing a frame to the final adjustments, we want your glasses to feel as good as they look.
Daniel · Founder and optician
Daniel has worked in optics since 2001 and graduated as an optician in 2007. He opened T’as Vu? Optique in 2010 to share his passion for quality eyewear and help people find frames that suit their face, style and lifestyle. He brings a personal approach and a careful eye for fit and detail. Outside the boutique, you’ll find him skiing, listening to classic rock or playing guitar.

Moshé shares a passion for the craftsmanship and details behind every frame. He enjoys helping clients find glasses that bring together style, comfort and personality, with friendly, attentive advice throughout the process. Outside the boutique, he enjoys soccer and staying active.
